Terms of Service
Last updated 7 September 2026. These are the terms you agree to when you buy or use Talixel. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
1. Who you are dealing with
Talixel is made and sold by Taleb Jarrar, an individual trading as “Talixel”, based in Jordan. In these terms “we”, “us” and “Talixel” mean that person, and “you” means the person buying or using the software.
Payment is not taken by us directly. Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as the merchant of record for every purchase: they sell Talixel to you, handle payment, charge any sales tax or VAT, and issue your invoice. Your card statement will show Paddle.com. Their own terms apply to the payment itself.
You can reach us at support@talixel.com.
2. Who can buy and use Talixel
You must be 16 or older to buy Talixel or hold a Talixel account. This is about entering a contract and holding an account, not about the software itself.
Children may use Talixel. If you are a parent or guardian, you may buy a licence and let a child of any age use it on your licensed device. The account and the purchase stay yours, and you are responsible for how the licence is used.
3. What you are buying
A perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Talixel for one person. Not a subscription: there is no recurring charge, and the licence does not expire.
- Two devices at a time. You may activate your licence on up to two computers, and swap them whenever you like from your account page.
- Commercial use is allowed. Anything you draw in Talixel is yours to sell, publish, licence or put in a game. We claim no rights over your work whatsoever.
- Updates within the current major version are included. If you buy 1.x, every 1.x update is free and installs automatically. A future 2.0 may be a separate paid upgrade; we will never charge you for a security or bug fix.
- Windows only at present — Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. We do not promise macOS or Linux versions.
4. What you may not do
- Share, resell, publish or sublicense your licence key. The key is what identifies your purchase; treat it like a password.
- Use one licence across a team or organisation. One licence covers one person.
- Remove or work around the licensing system, or help others do so.
- Redistribute Talixel itself, modified or unmodified, as your own product.
You keep any rights you have under your own country’s law — including, where the law grants it, the right to decompile the software for interoperability. Nothing here takes that away.
5. Your account and your licence key
Your licence key lives in your account so you can always find it again. Keep your password and key to yourself. If a key is shared publicly or used in a way that breaks section 4, we may revoke it; if that happens because someone else got hold of your key, contact us and we will sort it out rather than leave you without the software you paid for.
6. Your artwork is yours
Talixel saves your files to your own computer. We have no cloud storage, no upload feature, and no access to anything you draw. We claim no ownership, no licence, and no right to use your work — not for promotion, not for training, not for anything.
7. Refunds
Thirty days, no argument. The details are on our refund policy page, which forms part of these terms.
8. Updates and changes to the software
Talixel checks for new versions and installs them when you close the app. We may add, change or remove features as the product develops. We will not remove a feature that was central to why you bought it without saying so clearly in advance.
9. What we do not promise
Talixel is provided as it is. We have tested it and we use it ourselves, but we cannot promise it will be free of bugs, will suit a particular purpose, or will never lose work. Keep your own backups of anything you would be upset to lose. Talixel autosaves and prompts you before closing with unsaved changes, but no software is a substitute for a backup.
10. Limits on liability
If something goes wrong and it is our fault, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Talixel. We are not liable for lost work, lost profit, lost time, or other indirect losses.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and any consumer rights you hold under the law of your own country.
11. Ending the licence
You may stop using Talixel at any time. We may revoke a licence if it is refunded, charged back, or used in breach of section 4. If we revoke a licence for any other reason, we will refund you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top always tells you when. Changes are not retroactive: the terms you agreed to when you bought still govern that purchase, unless a change is needed to comply with the law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and disputes will be heard by the courts of Amman, Jordan. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, your licence, or anything else: support@talixel.com. Billing questions and invoices are handled by Paddle, the merchant of record for your purchase.
